On August 23, Sunny Yang, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Newcastle, Australia, and her delegation visited Chengdu University (CDU). President Wang Qingyuan and Vice President Peng Xiaolin cordially welcomed guests in the guest hall of the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts.

Wang Qingyuan extended a warm welcome to the guests. He introduced the history and vision of CDU, as well as its adherence to the integrated implementation of talent strategy, characteristics strategy, internationalization strategy, and digitalization strategy in recent years. These endeavors have made CDU one of the fastest-growing universities in China. As the host university of the Athletes’ Village of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, CDU is committed to further improving its international cooperation and exchanges, encouraging the international mobility of teachers and students, and expanding its global cooperation.
