Chengdu University Spring 2025 International Student Enrollment Guidelines (Non-Degree Programs)

Chengdu University (CDU), founded in 1978, is one of the first full-time general undergraduate universities sponsored by local cities following China's reform and opening up. CDU implements a university system that involves provincial and municipal co-administration and municipal operations. It is a key university in Sichuan Province and Chengdu City, the host university of the Athletes Village of the Chengdu 2021 FISU Games, and a FISU-certified "Healthy Campus" with a silver label. CDU has the authority to award bachelor's and master's degrees and has established postdoctoral research centers. It was selected by the Ministry of Education (MoE) for the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program," recognized by MOE as a featured higher education institution for national defense education, and included in MoE's “Double Ten Thousand Plan” for first-class undergraduate programs. Moreover, it is one of Sichuan's prioritized universities for awarding doctoral degrees.
