Since its establishment, Chengdu University has trained more than 150,000 students of all kinds for the society, who are working at home and abroad, especially in the Chengdu-Chongqing area. They have distinguished themselves in the fields of science and technology, education, culture, and business, and have made outstanding contributions to the economic development of the society.

Chengdu University Alumni Association (CDUAA) was established on December 23, 2012. At present, it has established alumni societies in Guangdong, Tibet, Suining, Qingbaijiang, Pujiang and Xindu, as well as foreign societies in Thailand and New Zealand.
