Recently, the Youth Development Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China sent a letter of commendation to the School Department of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee to acknowledge their contributions. Based on evaluation indicators such as organization and launch of competitions, participation in activities like online practice relay, and project awards, 10 provincial youth league committees and 76 college youth league committees were commended for their outstanding performance in organizing and launching the 13th "Challenge Cup" Chinese College Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition. The efforts of Chengdu University (CDU) in organizing and participating in the "Challenge Cup" Chinese College Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition have been fully acknowledged.

With a core objective of developing talent for the Party, this competition stands out by leveraging the digital organization of the event as its defining characteristic. The competition garnered more than 330,000 projects from 3,011 schools nationwide (including Hong Kong and Macao), with the direct participation of 1,424,000 students. The increasing number of participating institutions and individuals has fostered a favorable environment for innovation and entrepreneurship throughout society.

The Youth League Committee of CDU has made meticulous preparations for organizing the competition, aiming to make it a prominent event for the Communist Youth League to promote the robust development of young teachers and students. The university has arranged a series of events, including the on-campus trials for the "Challenge Cup" Chinese College Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, a special exhibition showcasing award-winning works of the "Challenge Cup" Chinese College Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, a sharing and exchange meeting themed "Youth Voices of CDU", and the Youth League Committee Activity Day Themed Innovation and Entrepreneurship. These events are organized to cultivate a maker culture, foster an environment that embraces the pioneering spirit and accepts failure, as well as raise students' awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship. CDU has not only organized teams to participate in six major activities, namely, Online Practice Relay, Master's Lecture, Youth Learning Workshop, Career Experience Camp, Tutor Reception Room and Resource Matchmaking Meeting, but also invested special funds to support key projects at the university level. Finally, CDU submitted more than 1,400 entries to the competition and achieved remarkable results, including five gold medals, four silver medals, and five bronze medals in the Sichuan provincial competition. Moreover, the university was honored with two collective awards—"Winning Cup" and "Excellent Organization Award", as well as two bronze medals in the national competition.

The new era has provided an unparalleled platform for young people to make significant contributions. In anticipation of the new "Challenge Cup" competition, the Youth League Committee of CDU will continue to thoroughly study and implement President Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and fulfill the original mission of the Communist Youth League to "educate people for the Party and the country" under the leadership of the Party and Government Affairs Department of the university. By focusing on fostering innovative talent and fully implementing a collaborative education strategy, the university is striving to establish a platform for scientific and technological innovation practice among college students. It encourages students to enhance their skills through innovative and entrepreneurial activities, while striving to strengthen China's scientific and technological innovation capability. Additionally, the university will establish a "dream factory" for the growth of its students and contribute to building a top-notch applied city university with unique characteristics in China.
