On the morning of December 8, Professor Zhang Yi was appointed as Honorary Dean of the School of Computer Science of Chengdu University. He is a founding member, the deputy secretary-general, and an executive director of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI). He also serves as Chairman of the Sichuan Association for Artificial Intelligence (SAAI), and the chief scientist of artificial intelligence of Sichuan University. He is an expert entitled to the Special Government Allowance of the State Council. President Wang Qingyuan issued an appointment letter to Zhang Yi, and Vice President Tang Yiqian attended the appointment ceremony.
