Xie Jia, a lecturer, graduated from Sichuan University in 2006 with a major in Comparative Literature and World Literature. From 2006 to 2010, she served as a counselor of the College of Literature and Journalism, Chengdu University and secretary of the sub-CYL (Communist Youth League of China) committee. In 2009, she worked as a Chinese teacher at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, where she taught courses such as Comprehensive Chinese, Oral Chinese and Chinese Writing. From 2013 to 2015, she worked as a Chinese teacher at the Confucius Institute at the University of New Hampshire, where she taught Elementary Chinese, Intermediate Chinese and other courses. Since 2016, she has served as a teacher at the College of Literature and Journalism and has been mainly teaching Cross-cultural Communication, the Practice of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and other courses. At the same time, she has also served as a Chinese teacher at the College of Overseas Education, mainly teaching Intermediate Chinese Reading. She has guided students to complete the provincial innovative training project "Design of Elementary Chinese Teaching Resources for Confucius Institutes in North America — Taking Confucius Institute at the University of New Hampshire as An Example" (Project No.: S201911079085).
