On the afternoon of March 5, the topping-out ceremony of No.3 Athlete Apartment, with the largest monomer area among the construction projects of the Athletes’ Village for the 31st FISU Summer World University Games 2021, was carried out. That is to say, the activity of 300-day countdown to its completion was initiated officially. It marks the whole construction projects of the Athletes’ Village have gone through comprehensive by coordinating the pandemic control as well as work and production resumption, which means all have stood the test by shouldering their responsibilities.
In front of the serious Covid-19 pandemic, all corresponding departments responsible for the construction projects of the Athletes’ Village responded rapidly to the deployment of upper-level departments and laid down the anti-pandemic and work-resumption mechanics in spite of many difficulties and problems in terms of personnel and material. The anti-pandemic countermeasures have been implemented to secure enough workers, materials and machines for production, and all regulations have been rigorously enforced. As a result, the whole project went through a successive review and was approved for work resumption on February 10, and all projects will resume in time.
