From November 13 to 16, the 2024 AEC (Association Européenne des Conservatoires or European Association of Conservatoires) Conference was held at Milan Conservatory. UMIT ISGORUR, a Turkish expert from the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts, Chengdu University, attended on behalf of the college. This conference includes keynote speeches, parallel seminars, music theme workshops, science and art project training, orientation sessions for new members, and other activities. During the conference, UMIT ISGORUR participated in workshops to introduce the college, digitalization, and collaboration in music projects. These workshops provide valuable insights into how global music academies can strengthen convergence and innovation.

Deborah Kelleher, President of AEC, extended a warm welcome to the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts' join and placed great hopes on its future development, exchanges, and cooperation between the two sides. Guests from all over the world enthusiastically discussed the possibility of cooperation. The college's international popularity has been enhanced significantly, injecting new impetus into its internationalization.

On the orientation sessions for new members and information forums, UMIT ISGORUR mainly introduced the college's achievements, faculty, development vision, and scholarship application and conducted in-depth exchanges and interactions with students, parents, and industry personnel worldwide.

As a new member of AEC, the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts audited "MusiQuE Peer Training". Emerging technologies increasingly influence and reconstruct art program forms and talent training models in universities worldwide. The concept of technology-art integration coincides with the college's AIGC art innovation projects, providing guidance for the college to understand and participate in similar projects from AEC in the future and a reference for the expansion and exchange of AIGC projects.
