After winning the "Chinese Government Friendship Award" in 2018 and the "Most Admirable Special Contribution Award" of Thailand in 2022, Chaphiporn Kiatkachatharn, an expert from Chengdu University in Thailand, was awarded the "Sirindhorn Medal" by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand at the Chitralada Palace of Thailand on October 15 this year.

The "Sirindhorn Medal" is an award set up by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand to reward people who have made outstanding contributions to Thailand's education. It is an important honor of Thailand, and the winner will be courteously received in Thailand. In 2024, a total of 40 people around the world were honored with this award, including Chengdu University Foreign Expert Chaphiporn Kiatkachatharn. This award means that his China-Thailand educational cooperation and exchange efforts with Chengdu University as the incubator for many years have been highly recognized and affirmed by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and Thailand's education circle.

In the more than ten years of working in our university, Chaphiporn Kiatkachatharn has been conscientious and dedicated to promoting exchanges and cooperation between China and Thailand in the field of education and culture.
