These included Prince of Songkla University, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Chumphon Campus of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, the National Institute of Development Administration, and Thewphaingarm International School.

The delegation conducted research and academic exchanges on topics such as joint training programs for master’s and doctoral students at Thai universities, Chinese language education in Thailand, China-Thailand educational and cultural exchanges, and the development of the Southern Economic Corridor in Thailand. They also visited Chengdu University students majoring in Thai language who are currently on exchange at Prince of Songkla University. Both the delegation and the Thai universities and educational organizations expressed a commitment to maintaining close academic exchanges and jointly conducting academic research. The Institute will also assist in promoting the establishment of educational and cultural exchange platforms between Chengdu University and these institutions and facilitate the implementation of cooperation projects between Chengdu University’s relevant schools and Thai partners. This will further leverage the advantages of the Sichuan Provincial Research Institute of Thai Studies in building a cluster of national and regional research bases and enhance the distinctive Chengdu brand in the field of national and regional studies.
