Recently, Dr. Li Qingzhu from the Laboratory of Chiral and Biomimetic Synthesis, College of Pharmacy, Chengdu University (CDU), published a new paper online inAngewandte Chemie(Q1 journal ofChinese Academy of Sciences, IF: 16.823), a leading international journal of chemistry, with CDU as the sole correspondent, entitled "Oxidative Radical NHC Catalysis: Divergent Difunctionalization of Olefins through Intermolecular Hydrogen Atom Transfer".
This research project developed the divergent bifunctionalization reaction of olefins through an intermolecular hydrogen atom transfer radical course using an oxidative radical NHC organocatalytic system with peroxylate as an exogenous single electron oxidant. This project enables the challenging activation process of inert C-H bonds by means of green organic small-molecule catalysis, expanding the application of azacyclic carabine catalysis and providing a powerful tool for the innovative synthesis of drug molecules. Professor Li Junlong of the College of Pharmacy is the corresponding author of the paper, and the project has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Longquan Talent Program and the CDU Research Projects.
Angewandte Chemie (Applied Chemistry in Germany, Online ISSN: 1521-3773) is one of the prestigious flagship journals of Wiley-VCH, a Nature Index journal with a latest impact factor of 16.823, mainly publishing highly innovative research articles. It is a world-class top journal in the field of chemistry and a top journal in SCI Q1 of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
