The 14th National 3D Digital Innovative Design Competition lasting for six months from March 25 to December 5, 2021, wrapped up with the teams from Chengdu University (CDU) winning one national first prize, one national third prize, and two provincial special prizes.
Under the guidance of Yuan Ao, Sun Wenxiang and Yang He, two CDU teams—"the Five Contractors” and “Heming Studio”—won Sichuan Provincial Special Prizes and got through to national finals. Members of the Five Contractors included Zhang Xin, Tao Yinqiao, Wang Yi, Huang Zihao, and Ma Erniu, and those of the Heming Studio included Peng Haoleiing, Zhang Ruiqi, Li Jie, Zhang Meiqi, and Luo Jiaxing. “The Five Contractors” won the national first prize with the work entitled "Full Professional BIM Optimization Analysis Based on Life Service Center", while the Heming Studio won the national third prize with the work entitled "Administrative Support Center".

(List announced: Digital Habitat Design Competition)
Initiated by 3DDL, the National 3D Digital Innovative Design Competition has been guided by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, and the China Association for Science and Technology. This year's competition attracted over 15,000 participating teams from nearly 1,000 universities, enterprises, and public institutions nationwide, submitting over 12,000 pieces of work. After rounds of selection, over 800 teams of 305 institutions got through to the finals. This year's competition was tough and fierce, offering only 20 first prizes, 47 second prizes, and 51 third prizes at the national level.
