Representatives from the Returned Overseas Chinese Federation of Chengdu University attended the 2021 Overseas Chinese Elite (Chengdu) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit

From September 22 to 24, the 2021 Overseas Chinese Elite (Chengdu) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit was held in Chengdu. Over 280 representatives from various organizations attended the meeting, including the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, Youth Committee of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Distinguished Experts Panel of Sichuan Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Fellowship Expert Committee of the Tianfu Emei Plan, overseas Chinese enterprises, Association of Chengdu Talent Development Promotion, Youth Committee of the Chengdu Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and representatives of Returned Overseas Chinese Federation of universities in Chengdu. Representatives from the Returned Overseas Chinese Federation of Chengdu University attended the meeting.

After the opening ceremony, the 2021 Overseas Chinese Elite Tianfu Trip and the annual meeting of the Distinguished Experts Panel of Sichuan Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese were held. Wang Qingyuan, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Chengdu University, hosted the meeting. The list of newly recruited experts was read out and letters of appointment were issued. Wang Qingyuan has been appointed as Deputy Director of the Distinguished Experts Panel of the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; Du Jie, Dean of the Overseas Education College, has been appointed as Deputy Director of the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Law Sub-committee; Some participants, including Li Jian, Shi Zheng, Li Junlong, Ma Wenbo, were newly recruited as experts of the Distinguished Experts Panel.

In order to share innovation achievements, Wang Qingyuan gave a keynote speech entitled "Tribute to Reform and Opening-up. Everyone Needs to Take Part". During the roadshow of the New Overseas Chinese project, Tian Haisu, Associate Professor of the College of Overseas Education, shared her project "Spreading Aesthetic Education without Forgetting the Original Aspiration".
