The team of Professor Abomohra of the College of Architecture and Civil Engineering in our university has carried out international scientific research cooperation with the Faculty of Marine Science of King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia. Based on previous cooperative research, the project "Catalytic (co-)pyrolysis of microalgae and seaweeds for enhanced bio-oil generation coupled with seawater desalination: Screening and evaluation study at Jeddah Red Sea coastal area" was approved and funded by the King Abdulaziz University in March 2021. The project will be funded by SAR 300,000 (approximately RMB 500,000), of which 20% will be transferred to Chengdu University for related research.
