Chengdu University and Prince of Songkla University Phuket Campus Held an Online Renewal Cooperation Signing Ceremony

 On February 25th, Chengdu University and Phuket Prince of Songkla University Phuket Campus held an online renewal cooperation signing ceremony witnessed by Thippawan Supamikitja, Consul General, and Waruntorn Kochtaropas, Consul, of the Consulate General of Thailand in Chengdu.

Establish in 1967, Prince of Songkla University is located in Changwat Songkhla in southern Thailand. Over the past 50 years, Prince of Songkla University has become the top university, as well as the largest and most prestigious key national higher education institution in southern Thailand. It is also a comprehensive university that integrates high-level teaching and academic research, and has trained a large number of talents in various regions of Thailand, especially in southern Thailand. Prince of Songkla University has colleges of Agriculture, Science, Natural Resources, Humanities and Social Sciences, Education, Management, Environmental Supervision and Construction Engineering, Medical Science, Graduate School, Computing Center, etc. Prince of Songkla University has five campuses. From 1965 to 1971, the main campus was located in Changwat Pattani. It is now located in Hatyai, Changwat Songkhla in southern Thailand. The rest of campuses include Phuket Campus, Surat Thani Campus and Trang Campus.

In 2008, Chengdu University and Prince of Songkla University (Phuket Campus) signed the MOU to officially establish a friendly and cooperative relationship. This renewal marks a new start for the cooperation between the two universities. It is expected that the two universities will carry out student exchange, faculty exchange and scientific research cooperation in national and provincial first-class undergraduate programs such as Tourism Management and Thai.
