Sino-US Cooperative Universities Fight the Pandemic and Overcome the Difficulties Together

Chengdu Universityworks together with its foreign partner - University of New Hampshire, where the Confucius Institute is located in America. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the presidents of the two universities have exchanged four sincere letters of sympathy, which not only inspire the fighting spirit against the pandemic but also enlighten the wisdom of education. Many batches of pandemic prevention medical materials and drugs donated by the two universities have been received, including the initial donation of materials by the University of New Hampshire to Chengdu University and Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University, and the donation of materials by Chengdu University to Durham Town, New Hampshire, USA. As the teachers of the Confucius Institute at the University of New Hampshire said, "Our love is passing, and warmth is always on the way."

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Confucius Institute at the University of New Hampshire took the lead to take actions. Under the leadership of Chinese and foreign deans, all the staff actively participated in the work of donating materials and fighting the pandemic, gave full play to the function as a bridge and link in the community building of the two cooperative universities, and truly embodied the Confucius Institute's educational purpose of developing friendly relations between China and foreign countries, promoting the development of world multiculturalism and contributing to the construction of a harmonious world.
