On the afternoon of October 8, President Wang Qingyuan hadafriendly communication with Adrian Murtiz, Dean of School of Engineering of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology from Australia at the meeting hall.

WangQingyuanintroducedthe school-running orientation ofChengdu University for the purpose of a first-class applied city university in China, discipline layout and reforms of talents training. He expressed his wish for cooperation with RMIT in terms of undergraduate and postgraduate programs as well as scientific researches.

Mr. Adrian Murtiz expressed his appreciation forthe warm reception of Chengdu University. He introduced the history and basic information of RMIT, and sincerely invited President Wang Qingyuan and CDU delegation to visit RMIT. Meanwhile, he also expressed his wish for substantial cooperation with Chengdu University in areas of animation, engineering, material research and so on.
