XLY MoMA is the first private museum of Art and Design in China, named after the famous artist and designer Mr. Xu Liaoyuan. It was completed and put into use on September 20, 2007, and the second phase was completed in December 2010. The museum is located near Sansheng Flower Town Waterscape Plaza, a national AAAA level scenic spot in Chengdu, Sichuan, covering an area of about 23 mu. It irregularly organizes exhibitions, forums, lectures and salons and other cultural activities to showcase the emerging design achievements at home and abroad, present the most avant-garde artistic thoughts at present, and provide a high-end academic exchange platform for professionals.

On the existing basis, the museum will set up a creative factory, an international academic exchange center, an international artists' exchange studio and an advanced design art seminar, and will attract more enterprises from related industries. We try to create a model of the creative industrial park and creative industry with original characteristics of Sansheng Flower Town in Jinjiang District, Chengdu, and become a new model and leading project of creative industrial parks. Through continuous development, we will build XLY MoMA into the leader of China's cultural and creative industries and the R&D center of China's contemporary creative design.
