The Central Laboratory is a public scientific research platform built for the staff of the hospital. It also undertakes clinical testing services for precision medicine and rational drug use. It has a high-quality professional team of over 20 full-time or part-time scientific researchers with strong research capabilities. The technical platforms of the laboratory are comprehensive, and a number of distinctive clinical test items and scientific research directions have been formed, which have greatly met the needs of patients and scientific researches, and laid a solid foundation for the construction of key disciplines, personnel training, scientific project development and new clinical technology promotion. At present, the central laboratory has varous clinic rooms for polymerase chain reaction (PCR), clinical pharmacological experiments, clinical pathological analysis, cell culture, molecular biology experiments, chromatographic analysis, image analysis and bioinformatics analysis, and is equipped with advanced instruments and equipment such as NGS automatic analysis and interpretation system, liquid chromatography triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry combined detection system, multi-functional flow fluorescence dot matrix instrument, ABI7500 and ABI StepOne Plus fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument, Waters high performance liquid chromatography (HLPC), gel imaging analysis system, Olympus IX73 inverted fluorescence microscopy imaging system, Thermo full-wavelength multifunctional microplate reader, Shimadzu ultraviolet spectrophotometer, Nanodrop2000 micro nucleic acid analyzer, Thermo ultrapure water system and CTCBIOPSY abnormal cell staining instrument. Other commonly used instruments such as low-temperature high-speed centrifuges, biological safety cabinets, protein transfer system, carbon dioxide incubators, ultra-low temperature refrigerators, and autoclaves are also available. All these enable the laboratory to conduct personalized medical testing and scientific research projects related to clinical genetic testing, clinical pathological testing, molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, clinical pharmacology and bioinformatics.
