Liu Li, a part-time teacher and lecturer at the College of Overseas Education and with a master's degree, studied Chinese Language and Literature at Sichuan Normal University, where she continued to study for a master's degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. She obtained the qualification certificate for Chinese language teachers in institutions of higher education in 2001, the Certificate of Accreditation in Teaching Chinese as A Foreign Language in 2003, and the certificate of Putonghua (Level 1-B) in 2004. From 2001 to 2002, she taught at Sichuan University of Science & Engineering; from 2005 to 2008, she taught at Chengdu Preschool Normal School; from 2008 to now, she has been teaching at the College of Overseas Education, Chengdu University. In 2007, she participated in the creation of "Teacher's Oral Language", a provincial-level quality course in Sichuan Province, and served as a member of the research group who was responsible for part of the teaching work and the construction of teaching resources.
