Wang Mei, a part-time teacher at the College of Overseas Education, with a master's degree in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, graduated from Sichuan Normal University with a major in Linguistics And Applied Linguistics.
In her school days, she obtained TEM4 and TEM8 certificates, won first-class scholarships many times and was rated as the "Excellent Graduate".
She once served as an English teacher and head teacher in a national key middle school the class teacher and the head of the lesson preparation team. While teaching at the College of Overseas Education, Chengdu University, she went to Thailand to practice teaching skills for student training on behalf of the school. From 2010 to 2020, she served as an IST language and culture teacher of Peace Corps. She once taught Junior English and Senior High English, and Elementary, Intermediate & Advanced Chinese. At present, she is teaching Elementary Oral Chinese, Intermediate Oral Chinese, Advanced Oral Chinese, Intermediate Comprehensive Chinese, HSK and other courses.
Because of excellent teaching achievements, she was rated as the "Excellent Professional" by the Municipal Education Bureau; she won the first prize in the Second National Teaching Skills Contest for the English Teachers (High School Group), and guided students to win prizes in the National English Proficiency Competition for Middle School Students many times. She owns a national occupational qualification certificate for tea specialists.
She mainly studies the comparison of Chinese and foreign languages and cultures, and has published articles in Chinese core journals nationwide.
Education philosophy: I will stimulate students with my passion, interpret Chinese with my wisdom, and make more foreign students fall in love with Chinese.
