Deng Shanxia (1976.10 - ), female, born in Hanzhong, Shaanxi province, a member of the Communist Party of China, Doctor of Laws, Professor, currently Associate Dean (presiding) of Law School, Chengdu University; Her research interests lie in criminal procedure laws and evidence laws. She is also the director of Sichuan Anti-domestic Violence Knowledge Popularization Base, the standing director of Sichuan Law Society Procedural Law Institute, and the Vice President of Chengdu Law Society. She was appointed as a distinguished guidance expert of People's Court in the Chengdu Longquanyi District, a member of the first Expert Advisory Committee of People's Procuratorate in the Chengdu Longquanyi District, the expert of People's Mediation Expert Advisory Group in the Qingyang District, and the people's supervisor of Chengdu Justice Bureau. She has undertaken the teaching of criminal procedure laws and evidence laws for a long time. "Evidence Law" was approved as one of "the First Batch of Application-oriented Demonstration Courses of Local Ordinary Colleges and Universities in Sichuan Province"; "Criminal Procedure Law" is a school-level quality course. In 2013, she was awarded the title of "Top 10 Outstanding Teachers" in the first teacher appraisal of Chengdu University; in 2017, she was awarded the honorary title of "National Advanced Individual for Safeguarding the Rights and Interests of Women and Children." She has presided over one NSSFC Project (under research) and one Humanities and Social Science Fund Project of the Ministry of Education (completed). She has participated in three projects at the national, provincial and ministerial levels and presided over more than 10 departmental and municipal projects. She has published two academic monographs, participated in compiling two textbooks, published more than 20 academic papers, including more than 10 papers in CSSCI journals or core journals. She has won five awards for academic achievements at all levels. She has presided over six provincial-level and school-level education reform projects in total, and has won three awards for education reform achievements, including one provincial award (ranked sixth) and two school-level awards (ranked second).
