Tan Xiaoling, female, is a CPC member, Ph.D.,professor, master's supervisor,Deputy Deanof theSchoolof Literature and Journalism of Chengdu University (in charge ofthe whole school work). Her research fields include media culture, cognitive communication, media literacy and public opinion. She has undertaken the teaching of courses such as Mass Communication, Media Research and Theoretical Basis of Journalism and Communication. She has published more than 20 papers, and published monographs and teaching materials such asCultural Research on TV News about People's Livelihood, andA Course in Radio and Television Studies. Shepresided overthe National Social Science Fund Project "Research on News Cognitive Communication in the Era of Big Data" and many other projects. She has won the first prize of Chengdu University's Teaching Achievement Award, the title ofExcellentTeacher in Chengdu University, the third prize of Sichuan Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, and the first prize of teaching materials of the 12th Association Award of China University Film and Television Association.
