Wang Xiqin is a Professor, Doctor of Engineering, master's supervisor,aNational First-grade Certified Constructor, and Deputy Dean. She is one of the first batch of young and middle-aged backbone teachers in Chengdu University's 1315 Talent Program and an expert inspector in the second to sixth university-level teaching supervision. She has rich experience in teaching, scientific research and engineering practice. She has published more than 30 academic papers in SCI journals, EI journals and Chinese core journals, and has edited 7 textbooks. She has presided over and participated as the principal researcher in more than 40 national and provincial scientific research projects and local services. She is in charge of multiple educational reform projects at national, provincial and university levels. She has also instructed students to win more than ten national and provincial competitions.

She is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in green building, energy conservation and environmental protection.
