On May 13, the inauguration ceremony of the International Exchange Alliance of Bashu Culture and Li Bai Academy was held in Jiangyou City. This event was co-initiated by Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and Jiangyou City. Hundreds of participants, including officials from government departments, university delegates, and cultural scholars from Sichuan Province, Chongqing, and Mianyang City, gathered to jointly launch the founding ceremony of the International Exchange Alliance of Bashu Culture. It marks the beginning of a new chapter in the international communication of Bashu culture. Meanwhile, the Li Bai Memorial Hall was officially designated as the "Li Bai Academy," providing a novel platform for the study, preservation, and promotion of the cultural legacy related to Li Bai. Representatives of Chengdu University's (CDU) faculty and students attended the event and witnessed this grand occasion in person.

The two-day event was vibrant, and an international student delegation from CDU participated in many cultural experience activities. In Li Bai Memorial Hall, international students, dressed in Tang suits, learned the "cross-hand salute" from the Tang Dynasty and played the pitch-pot game. At Jiangyou Shicheng Primary School, international students actively participated in the micro-classroom and spoke enthusiastically. They recited poems such as "Thoughts on a Tranquil Night" and "To Wang Lun" in unison to learn and feel the rhythm and artistic conception of Li Bai's poetry. At Jiangyou Foreign Language School, international students experienced traditional Chinese calligraphy, paper-cutting, and other folk arts with Chinese students. They collaborated to complete the rap performance "Chinese."

At the conclusion of the event, Du Qing, an international student from Vietnam, remarked, "This experience was more vivid and engaging than what can be found in books! I have learned many fascinating stories about Li Bai, admired the beauty of his hometown, experienced his boldness and carefree spirit, and gained a deeper appreciation for the charm of traditional Chinese culture. I eagerly look forward to participating in more cultural activities like this."

In the future, the International Exchange Alliance of Bashu Culture plans to collaborate with domestic and international universities to host the "Bashu Culture Festival," organize integrated activities involving "academic exchange + on-site experience + skill dissemination," and leverage the Li Bai Academy platform to cultivate talent in cross-cultural communication. As a member of the alliance, CDU will seize this opportunity to develop cultural practice bases for international students and encourage more international youth to become ambassadors of Bashu culture.
