Recently, the winner list of the 2022 "Digital Cup" China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling was revealed. Students from the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering of CDU, includingChen Lixuan, Mo Xian and Song Qiaoyu, who were enrolled in 2020, won the National Excellence Award under the guidance of Li Hua Jin, a teacher from the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

The "Digital Cup" China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling is a national mathematical modeling competition co-sponsored by the Organizing Committee of "Digital Cup" China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest, Inner Mongolia Innovative Education Society and Inner Mongolia Institute of Innovative Educational Resources Development.The contest aims to cultivate students' innovative awareness, teamwork spirit, and ability to solve practical problems with mathematical knowledge, help students improve their mathematical modeling ability, and provide a platform for students to apply theory into practice.

A total of 3,545 teams from 748 universities and colleges at home and abroad participated in this contest, including 2,603 at the undergraduate level, 833 at the graduate level and 109 at the junior college level, involving nearly 11,000 students. The contest also attracted students from world-class foreign universities such as the University of Bristol and the University of Sydney.
