On July 23, the Inauguration Ceremony of Chengdu University Yibin Alumni Association and Signing Ceremony for School-enterprise Cooperation was held in Hengxu International Hotel in Yibin. Wang Qingyuan, President of Chengdu University and President of the General Alumni Association of Chengdu University, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Peng Xiaolin, Vice President, and Executive Vice President of the General Alumni Association of Chengdu University, also attended the event. More than 30 Yibin alumni of Chengdu University gathered to witness the establishment of the Yibin Alumni Association.

On behalf of the university, Wang Qingyuan congratulated the establishment of Chengdu University Yibin Alumni Association and introduced to the Yibin alumni the history of the university's construction and development and the major breakthroughs made by the university in recent years in various aspects. He pointed out that the rapid development of Chengdu University in recent years is not only supported by the government and people from all walks of life, but also by the alumni's help and cooperation. This year, the Municipal Party Committee and the government put forward the "541" construction goals for the development of Chengdu University, drawing a bright future for the university. The university hopes that the alumni will continue to follow and support the development of their alma mater, gather their strengths and help achieve the goals as soon as possible. Wang Qingyuan stressed that the Yibin Alumni Association should build a platform for emotional exchange and resource sharing, gather alumni resources to promote common development between alumni and between alumni and their alma mater, to achieve the goal of "Building, Sharing and Winning Together", and help accelerate the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.
Li Liuzhi, member of Yibin Alumni Association Preparatory Group and alumnus of Chengdu University, gave a report on the preparatory work. Yang Yang, Director of Alumni Office, read out the Approval of Chengdu University on the Establishment of Chengdu University Yibin Alumni Association. Alumna Xu Yanjin introduced the Yibin Alumni Association flag and emblem.

In accordance with the meeting process, the list of candidates for the organizational structure was unanimously approved by the meeting, Shi Chuang was elected president, Li Liuzhi, Peng Wan, Deng Yufeng, Zheng Xiaoyan as vice presidents, Deng Yufeng also as secretary-general, Zeng Yiqun and Xu Yanjin as deputy secretary-general. On behalf of the university, Wang Qingyuan conferred a plaque to the Chengdu University Yibin Alumni Association, and Wang Qingyuan and Peng Xiaolin jointly presented appointment letters to the directors of the first council of the Yibin Alumni Association.

On behalf of Yibin alumni, Shi Chuang expressed his gratitude to his alma mater for the cultivation and teachers for the teaching. He said that the time they spent studying at their alma mater was a lifelong sentiment that alumni could not let go of and that they felt proud and honored as alumni of Chengdu University when they heard their alma mater's good news. Mr. Shi said that the Yibin Alumni Association will continue to uphold the school motto of "self-love, self-cultivation, self-respect and self-improvement", strengthen the ties with the General Alumni Association and the alma mater, and promote the exchange of emotions and information between the alma mater and the alumni. The Yibin Alumni Association will actively integrate all kinds of resources, sincerely provide more professional and practical services and assistance to the alumni, and build the Yibin Alumni Association into a platform for alumni to help each other.

Peng Wan and Deng Yufeng spoke as representatives of alumni. Peng Wan said that establishing the Yibin Alumni Association has been a long-term expectation of all Yibin alumni, and it will become a home to alumni who work and settle in Yibin. Deng Yufeng said, "Today, we talk about friendship, get to know each other, and seek development; In the future, we should strengthen the communication and exchange, solidarity and mutual assistance, and cooperation and development between each other."

Sharing resources to jointly create a better future. In order to match the strengths of university talents and enterprise practice, the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering of Chengdu University signed the "School-Enterprise Cooperation Agreement" with Yibin Real Estate Industry Association, Yibin Chamber of Commerce for Decoration and Building Materials Industry, and Yibin Construction Industry Association; and the Law School of Chengdu University signed the agreement with Bright&Brilliant Law Firm and Bright&Brilliant Law Firm (Yibin).

During their stay in Yibin, Wang Qingyuan and his delegation visited the enterprises for which Yibin alumni work, including the Marketing Center of Yibin Liya Jiangchen, Bright&Brilliant Law Firm (Yibin) and exchanged views on cooperation between the university and enterprises on talent training, internship training and resource sharing.
