According to the "Notice onthe Approved Chinese-foreign Cooperative Education Projects in the Second Half of 2019" issued by the Ministry of Education (JWH [2020] No.7), the "Undergraduate Education Project of Electrical Engineering and Automation Major" jointly organized by Chengdu University and Gachon University ofSouthKorea was successfully approved, and enrollment will begin in 2020.

With the approval of this project, Chengdu University has once again obtained the qualification for Chinese-foreign cooperative undergraduate education projects, and the total number of projects increased from 3 to 4, having laid the foundation for a new and open multi-level and multi-disciplinary model of Chinese-foreign cooperative education projects.
