To follow the key instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on education and the guiding principles of the National Education Conference, further strengthen universities' function of talent cultivation through aesthetic education, and build an education system that fosters the students' all-round moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor development, the Excellent Work Onsite Exhibition and Awarding Ceremony of the 9th University Students Art Exhibition of Sichuan Province hosted by the Education Department of Sichuan Province was held in Dazhou on November 18. A total of 33 excellent literature and art works and over 1,400 teachers and students gathered at Bashan Grand Theater to attend the activity. It's worth noting that all the 19 works submitted by Chengdu University won awards, including nine first awards, nine second awards, and one third award. Among others, the original dance Drum of Sun and the vocal music Yi Song representing Chengdu University were given performances at the Excellent Work Onsite Exhibition.
