On the afternoon of July 1, Chengdu University's high-level expert lecture on state and regional studies themed "China-ASEAN Cooperation in Anti-pandemic – A Dialogue with Xu Ningning" was held online. Professor Xu Ningning, the specially invited keynote speaker, who is the Chief China-ASEAN Business Expert, Executive Director of China-ASEAN Business Council (CABC), and Director of the Asia-pacific Research Center of the China Foundation for International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People' Republic of China, talked to the teacher and student participants of Chengdu University via the Internet. Serving as the guiding spokesperson, Sun Xiaomeng, Professor at Beijing Foreign Studies University and Honorary Dean of the College of Foreign Languages and Cultures of Chengdu University communicated with Wang Qingyuan,Deputy Secretary of the Chengdu University Committee, and President of the Research Center for Thai Studies, and Peng Xiaolin, Vice President of Chengdu University and Member of the Standing Committee of the Chengdu University Committee via the "cloud", exploring the new trend of cooperation between China and ASEAN amid the global COVID-19 pandemic.
