Pei Jinmei, with the instructor qualification, majored in Journalism and acquired bachelor degree from Yanbian University and majored in Asian and African Language and Literature and acquired master degree from Yanbian University, and  studied Asian and African Language and Literature in Yanbian University and was conferred Ph.D. degree. And she had studied as an exchange doctorate for one year majoring in Korean Language and Literature of Ewha Womans University.

From 2017 till now, she has been working as a teacher in College of Overseas Education of Chengdu University, teaching courses including "Korean (1)", "Korean (2)", "Korean (3)", "Korean (4)", "Korean (5)" and "Korean", while participating in the project of "Korean (5)" as an ideological and political demonstration course in Chengdu University. She worked as the head teacher of Class 1 of 2017 Construction Costs majors, many of which passed the TOPIK 2. And she won the Excellence Award in the 2018 Teaching Competition of Young Teachers held by Chengdu University.

Her main research area is language ontology. Published papers include:

"A Study of the Ending in Family Conversation in Yanbian of China" by Dialectology (South Korea) in June 2015.

"Several Questions in Language Information Processing" published by Korean Language (North Korea) in February 2015.

A Study on Honorific Forms Used Between Relatives by Korean Language (North Korea) in January 2016.

The Morphological Variations of Honorifics in Korean Language after Korean Liberation, an independent work published by Electronic Publishing House of Sichuan Normal University in December 2019.
