Annop Pongwat,He is a Thai education expert. He graduated from Thailand's top prestigious Chulalongkorn University in 1971 with a bachelor's degree, and received a master's degree in International Education from Stanford University in 1975, and a doctorate degree from Florida State University in 1979. His research focuses on education development.

Professor Annop Pongwat was hired by the Ministry of Education (Thailand) from 1971 to 1974 as an adult education expert. He has long taught at Chiang Mai University in Thailand and served as Dean of the School of Education, Dean of the International College of Chiang Mai University, and a member of the National Research Council of Thailand.
