Dong Jianhui, male, is an Associate Professor with a doctoral degree in Engineering, and a postdoctoral fellow in Eeotechnical Engineering at Sichuan University's State Key Laboratory of Hydraulics and Mountain River Engineering. He is an expert member of the Science and Technology Committee of Sichuan Provincial Construction Science & Technology Association, a member of the Teaching Advisory Committee of National Experiment and Teaching Demonstration Center of Geological Engineering and National Virtual Simulation Experiment and Teaching Center of Geology and Geotechnical Engineering of the Chengdu University of Technology, and a member of International Association for Engineering Geology (IAEG). He has published more than 20 papers, received 6 awards at different levels for his teaching and scientific research achievements, and obtained 7 patents.

He is mainly engaged in the teaching and scientific research in slope dynamic response mechanism, rock and soil mass stability evaluation, and monitoring and early warning.
