Academic leader for the 1315 Project, distinguished expert of the Science & Technology Department of Sichuan Province, Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Commission, and the Education Department of Sichuan Province.

He presided over more than 40 scientific  projects such as National 863 and 934 Sub-projects; published more than 80 academic papers (including 40 retrieved by SCI and EI); compiled 6 textbooks; obtained 18 invention patents and utility model patents; obtained 1 third prize of Sichuan Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, 1 second prize of Chengdu Science and Technology Achievement Award.
