
On the morning of June 26, Apicha Insuwan, President of Payap University, led a delegation to Chengdu University (CDU). Zhu Ming, President of CDU, met the guests in Conference Room A316 of the Administrative Support Center. The two sides reached a significant consensus on deepening the strategic cooperation between the two universities.
Zhu Ming welcomed Apicha Insuwan and his delegation. He introduced the university’s achievements in its characteristic fields such as healthcare, music, and art, and emphasized the cooperative benefits between Chengdu and Chiang Mai as top travel destinations.
Apicha Insuwan spoke highly of the accomplishments that CDU had achieved in international education.
The two sides agreed to engage in in-depth collaboration across key areas, including smart healthcare, music education, and nursing disciplines. By jointly establishing research centers and implementing collaborative training programs, they aim to leverage their respective strengths, promote the sharing of high-quality educational resources, and nurture highly skilled talent with a global perspective, ultimately making meaningful contributions to fostering cultural exchanges between China and Thailand.

Officials from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the College of Preclinical Medicine, the School of Nursing, the School of Music and Dance, and the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts attended the meeting.
