Visit and Exchange by Presidents of Several Foreign Universities

On the morning of October 23, Didier Paul Roger Desplanche, General Director of ECAM LaSalle in France, Wichai Vanpetch, Board Member of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University in Thailand, Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President of Ubon Ratchathani University in Thailand, Shingo Aashizawa, Vice President of Kansai International University in Japan, and Yang Guangjun, Vice President of Kansai University of International Studies in Japan, visited our university for exchanges. President Zhu Ming warmly welcomed the guests in Conference Room B418 of the Administrative  Center and held in-depth discussions with them on topics such as international educational cooperation, academic exchanges, and faculty and student visits. Vice President Peng Xiaolin attended the meeting.

Zhu Ming expressed a warm welcome to the visiting leaders from various universities and introduced the achievements Chengdu University has made in international development in recent years. He pointed out that the university has always regarded internationalization as one of its key development strategies. Through close cooperation with universities around the world, the university has significantly enhanced its faculty strength, research innovation, and talent cultivation levels. In recent years, the university has built a solid foundation for cooperation with universities in France, Thailand, and Japan. Through diverse projects, both sides have continuously strengthened collaboration in multiple fields, including engineering, science, culture, and language, promoting the sharing and exchange of international educational resources. He expressed the hope that this meeting would serve as an opportunity to further expand cooperation areas with each of these universities, strengthen collaborative efforts, and jointly promote innovation and development in higher education.

The leaders of the foreign universities highly praised our university’s internationalization strategy and expressed their willingness to work together with Chengdu University in future cooperation, engaging in deeper collaboration in areas such as student training, cultural exchanges, faculty exchanges, and joint research, thereby jointly promoting innovation and development in international higher education.
