CDU IELTS Test Center Passes First Audit of British Council with Excellent Results

Since its operation in April 2022, the IELTS computer-based test center of Chengdu University (CDU) has strictly abided by the implementation standards of the IELTS test in accordance with the compliance requirements of the National Education Examinations Authority of the Ministry of Education and the British Council and adhered to the principle of "providing safe tests whenever possible". With its high-quality test equipment and attentive services, the test center has been widely recognized by society. The test center won the 2022 National IELTS Excellent Test Center Award. The test center participated in and passed the first annual audit organized by the British Council, the organizer of the IELTS test. After a thorough audit, the center achieved a 90% compliance rating and a low overall risk, signifying the highest rating.

The audit for the IELTS test center organized by the British Council aims to ensure the quality of the IELTS test, and the relevant audit standards are continuously updated according to the latest requirements of the IELTS test. Since IELTS computer-based tests launched at CDU, the IELTS computer-based test service team has strictly followed the highest standards to improve the quality of test implementation and safely carry out each IELTS test according to specifications. This audit included a detailed review of more than 70 compliance regulations in the four major sectors of the IELTS test for nearly 9 hours. In the end, the excellent results of the IELTS test center of CDU were highly recognized by the IELTS test organizers.

The organizers said that the audit team was deeply impressed by the management concept highly valued by the leaders of the test center and the professionalism of the test service team and the audit team was confident in the future operation of the test center. The test center has many outstanding advantages. For the problems found in the audit and the items to be optimized, the test center has formulated an improvement plan and carried out rectification in a strict and standardized manner.
