From July 20 to 22, the series of Zhang Yong, a Legendary Governor of Sichuan in Northern Song was broadcasted for three consecutive days at Legal Lecture Room (History) on CCTV-12, a society and law channel. Presented by Fan Yingjie, Associate Professor of the School of Marxism, the program focused on the way Zhang Yong governed Sichuan.
Following her participation in the program The Death of Princess Lanling, Fan was invited again to Legal Lecture Room as a lecturer and planner for another program Good Governance. Based on the practice and character stories of grassroots social governance, this program aimed to manifest the ancient Chinese wisdom in governance and the ways of good governance told by Chinese traditional culture.
Fan traced the history back to the then Sichuan, whose grassroots society governance was deep-rooted in Chinese culture, for the practice and officials' stories of good governance in Ming and Qing dynasties.
