Ran Jian

Ran Jian, Master, Professor, Dean, Master Supervisor at Chengdu Sport University and Chengdu University, graduated from the School of Physical Education, Southwest China Normal University (now Southwest University) with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education and from Chengdu Sport University with a master's degree in Physical Education Teaching. In 2008, funded by the government, he went to New Zealand's Waikato Institute of Technology to study and obtained an adult education certificate. In 2014, he was once again funded by the government to receive management training at the University of New Hampshire in the United States. He is Deputy Secretary-general of the Sports Research Branch of Sichuan Higher Education Association, an expert of Chengdu Sports Project Review Committee, and a member of the Special Committee of the Teaching Steering Committee of Chengdu University. He presided over three provincial social sciences planning projects and participated in many scientific research projects at national, provincial and ministerial levels. He published more than 20 professional academic papers, 11 of which were published in the PKU (Chinese Core Journals from Peking University Library). He also published 1 monograph and 3 textbooks, participating in the compilation of many textbooks. He won many teaching and scientific research awards at all levels. He presided over and participated in many provincial, municipal and school-level teaching quality projects; served as the chief coach of the CDU Men's Basketball Team; and taught the sports-related courses ofSports Training and Basketball.
