Cao Minglun, Ph.D. from Peking University, Professor and doctoral supervisor of Sichuan University, is a member of Chinese Writers Association, council member of Translators Association of China, Chairman of Chengdu Translators Association, an expert entitled to Special Government Allowance of the State Council, outstanding expert with great contributions in Sichuan Province, member of the editorial boards ofChinese Translators Journal,The World of English,Translation ForumandLanguage and Culture Studies. He has long been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of English language and literature in colleges and universities, having mentored 25 doctoral students, 50 master students, and 16 visiting scholars. His research centers on English and American literature, literary translation, translation studies, and comparative cultural studies.
