Sichuan Anti-domestic Violence Knowledge Popularization Base is a non-profit public interest organization specializing in anti-domestic violence knowledge popularization and approved by the Publicity Department of CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Sichuan Federation of Social Science in December 2019. It was jointly established by the Federation of Social Science, Scientific Research Office and Law School of Chengdu University. The base now has 23 experts and 20 student volunteers. With the goal of "combating domestic violence, popularizing knowledge, setting up family traditions and cultivating happiness", it practices the advanced culture with gender equality at its core and adheres to the rule-of-law thinking so as to help empower individuals. Centering on the popularization themes of anti-domestic violence awareness training, anti-domestic violence knowledge popularization, anti-domestic violence capacity building and anti-domestic violence socially-supportive environment cultivation, it strives to promote knowledge popularization and academic research on the prevention and suppression of domestic violence in Sichuan province.
