Chengdu University Gymnasium (completed) will serve as the main volleyball venue of the 2021 Summer Universiade. With a floor area of about 8,000 square meters and over 3,000 spectator seats (including movable auditoriums), the gymnasium provides an area of about 2,000 square meters as the core area of volleyball competition, fully meeting the requirements of volleyball matches in the Universiade.

The affiliated volleyball venue is planned to be constructed on the west of Chengdu University Gymnasium with a floor area of 3,000 square meters and four standard volleyball training courts, fully meeting players' needs for training and warm-up exercises in international volleyball matches.

Functional Support of Event Services

The main volleyball venue of the 2021 Summer Universiade is equipped with 10 functional rooms for event services, including the athletes’ lounge, dressing room, press center, medical room, doping control room, and officials' meeting room, with a floor area of about 1,000 square meters.
