School Features

1. Innovate the talent training mechanism based on in-depth government-enterprise-school-city integration

With the joint efforts of the government, enterprises, schools and the city and in accordance with engineering accreditation standards, market demand, the new requirements of engineering course construction, and the emerging mechanism of innovative talent cultivation, the School has implemented the “CDIO Education Model" and realized the target of "jointly training talents, sharing responsibility and results and managing the process together". In this way, the quality of talent cultivation has been greatly improved.

2. The practical teaching system featured by an equal emphasis on innovation and extension has provided students with an opportunity to make good use of their spare time to participate in extensional practices.

Incentive measures are in place to motivate all the students to be actively involved in extensional practices. A multi-layered and full-dimensional program featured by " training scheme-based practical teaching + extensional teaching system based on practices + on campus training + off campus practice + entrepreneurship and innovation competition + hands-on projects" is well designed to improve students innovation ability for practice, while making up the shortfalls of training scheme and challenges of ineffective use of spare time.
